Jesus loves me and calls me His friend:
Just read this in John 15:12–17 (New King James Version)
12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.
Jesus wants you to know Him. He wants to spend time with you. This is something that have caught my attention the last week. I really want to be Jesus´ friend. He wants to provide for all my needs and I want to be close enough to Him to rely on Him always. And I want to lean on Him always just like we can read about in Song of Solomon 8:5 (NKJV)
Who is this coming up from the wilderness,
Leaning upon her beloved?
I´m telling you right now, that I´m the one coming up from the wilderness leaning on my beloved Jesus Christ. I will not be ashamed of my beloved again. I love Him and He loves me!
This is one of the promises we have in Psalm 91, v.1–2 (NKJV):
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
So that´s where I want to be; in the secret place of the Most High.
I just wanted to share with you what´s on my heart. Seek Jesus with all your heart and he will let you find Him according to Jeremiah 29:13-14a
13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the LORD
BLESS YOU!!!
