PURPOSE

Our vision for this gath­er­ing is to pro­vide hands-on inter­ac­tive train­ing to min­is­ter heal­ing for emo­tional wound­ed­ness as keys to expe­ri­enc­ing the super­nat­ural realm.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND DETAILS

This event is lim­ited to 40 peo­ple and is designed to pro­vide inter­ac­tive train­ing for those who are cur­rently involved in or are seek­ing to become involved in inner heal­ing prayer ministry.

The cost of this event is $390 per per­son, based on dou­ble occu­pancy. This is a pack­age price, which includes reg­is­tra­tion, accom­mo­da­tions and meals in Mora­vian Falls, NC.

The set­ting for this event is absolutely gor­geous. The beau­ti­fully appointed and fully mod­ern lodge is nes­tled in the midst of an apple orchard and is sur­rounded by the rolling hills and moun­tains of North Car­olina. The views are spec­tac­u­lar. In addi­tion, this loca­tion is known for the open heaven that exists there. Divine and angelic encoun­ters are com­mon place in this area.

Andrew Miller
Andrew Miller, LCSW, has prac­ticed as a pro­fes­sional indi­vid­ual, mar­riage and fam­ily ther­a­pist for the past fif­teen years. The bulk of his prac­tice is focused on resolv­ing dis­so­ci­a­tion and trauma in those suf­fer­ing from abuse. Andy actively incor­po­rates bib­li­cal heal­ing prin­ci­ples with sound clin­i­cal prac­tice. In addi­tion to his coun­sel­ing prac­tice, he is a fac­ulty mem­ber of the Cen­ter for Bib­li­cal Stud­ies in Tal­la­has­see, Florida and cur­rently serves as the direc­tor for Tal­la­has­see Heal­ing Prayer Min­istries. He resides in Tal­la­has­see with his wife, Lisa, and their son Nathaniel.

This trip is sched­uled for 8 days and involves excit­ing and pow­er­ful min­istry oppor­tu­ni­ties in Santa Marta, Colom­bia, includ­ing min­istry in two out­door evan­ge­lis­tic meetings.

The team will fly to Santa Marta on Mon­day, August 03, 2009 and return to the United States on Mon­day, August 10, 2009. Min­istry begins on Tues­day, August 04 in Santa Marta with Gary, Kathi, and the team.

Santa Marta is a city located in north­ern Colom­bia by the Caribbean sea and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta moun­tains. The city is an impor­tant mar­itime port and hub for tourism, his­tory and culture.

Dur­ing our time there, we will be min­is­ter­ing in the largest Four Square church in town (5,000 mem­bers) and in sev­eral other churches twice each day involv­ing a coop­er­a­tive effort among the local churches. We are also mak­ing plans for at least two city­wide cru­sades dur­ing our stay in Santa Marta.

The meet­ings in South Amer­ica have always been very pow­er­ful. They are char­ac­ter­ized by many sal­va­tions, dra­matic heal­ings & deliv­er­ance and lots of angelic activ­ity. Also, we are attempt­ing to sched­ule min­istry oppor­tu­ni­ties in a prison and/or an orphanage.

This trip will be fully inter­ac­tive for every mem­ber of the min­istry team. Each mem­ber of the team will be used by God in lead­ing peo­ple to sal­va­tion and/or min­is­ter­ing mir­a­cles of love, heal­ing, deliv­er­ance and restora­tion. With the excep­tion of travel days and some time for shop­ping and sight­see­ing, we will be min­is­ter­ing twice each day in the morn­ing and evening meetings.

The cost of the trip is divided into two com­po­nents; the first being the cost of your roundtrip air­fare to Santa Marta, Colom­bia. This cost is paid directly by you to the mis­sion depart­ment at Carl­son Wag­onlit Travel at 1800.622.3342 or to the travel agency or air­line web­site of your choice. All team mem­bers must be on the same flight to and from Santa Marta; there are no excep­tions to this pol­icy. The sec­ond com­po­nent is an in-country cost, which includes dou­ble occu­pancy accom­mo­da­tion in a resort on the ocean, 3 meals per day, ground trans­porta­tion, med­ical insur­ance, sight­see­ing excur­sions, and admin­is­tra­tive over­head. This amount is $1,089.00 and is paid directly to Gary Oates Min­istries. A deposit of $400 is due when you apply to join the min­istry team, and the remain­der is due by July 03, 2009.

Bill and Carol — Dew Bill and Carol Dew have trav­eled and min­is­tered with Gary & Kathi innu­mer­ous times. They believe every fol­lower of Christ is to heal the sick, cleanse the lep­ers, raise the dead and cast out demons, and they are on a mis­sion to see this hap­pen. Work­ing with churches, apos­tolic net­works, other min­istries, and min­istry schools, they are equip­ping believ­ers to be who Jesus said they could be and do what He said they could do.

As they teach and impart through the lay­ing on of hands, believ­ers begin to move in greater power and con­fi­dence, becom­ing nat­u­rally super­nat­ural every­where they go, twenty-four/seven. They are repro­duc­ing the miracle-working min­istry of Jesus in Chris­tians and help­ing them obey His com­mand to “Go and make dis­ci­ples of all nations…teaching them to obey every­thing I have com­manded you.”

Bill was a suc­cess­ful com­mer­cial real estate agent and Carol a con­tent house­wife and mother until God inter­rupted their com­fort­able lives. Carol received a call into min­istry in 1981. She grad­u­ated from Fuller The­o­log­i­cal Sem­i­nary with an MDiv in 1988 and became an ordained Pres­by­ter­ian pas­tor. God arrested Bill in 1992 and trans­formed him from a nom­i­nal Chris­t­ian into a pas­sion­ate, Spirit-filled believer with a call to the heal­ing min­istry. Bill left the busi­ness world and became sold-out for God. Their mar­riage and min­istry were rad­i­cally changed dur­ing a three week stay at the Toronto Air­port Chris­t­ian Fel­low­ship in 1996, and life has been an incred­i­ble adven­ture ever since.

Bill trav­eled full-time with Randy Clark from August 1998 through Novem­ber, 1999. Dur­ing that time he, and Carol who joined him on many of those trips, both received a pow­er­ful anoint­ing for heal­ing and an anoint­ing to impart it to oth­ers. Carol is trained as an Eli­jah House prayer coun­selor and is anointed in inner healing.

Bill and Carol have min­is­tered in many denom­i­na­tional and non-denominational churches and groups through­out the United States and inter­na­tion­ally. Home for Bill and Carol is San Diego, CA where they attend The Awak­en­ing, a church plant from Bethel Church in Red­ding. They are also still part of the resource team at The Mis­sion in Vacav­ille, CA where they had lived for 7 1/2 years. They have been mar­ried since 1969 and have one grown daugh­ter liv­ing in south­ern California.
